The third installment for Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam’ is announced now and fans are excited. But they have some suggestions for the makers before the release.
Usually the Hindi remake of the Drishyam movies come after a brief window of theatrical release of the original. But now people think it will be better to have a multi-lingual release for the movie.
The Malayalam movie is not dubbed in Hindi and the remake rights are usually bought before the release. People think this is a bad idea and the remakes dilute the essence of the original.
The multi-lingual dubbed release will ensure that audiences from the northern states will also be able to experience Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s magic very closely.
Many are hopeful that if Drishyam 3 comes out in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi alongside Malayalam, it has all the possibilities to be a pan-Indian hit. Fans from the South Indian states do not have much hope with the remakes by Ajay Devgn even though they are highly successful.
People also want re-releases of Drishyam and Drishyam 2. And it can indeed prove to be a very profitable idea if it is promoted in all languages together all over India.
