Flop Actor Banking On Popular Director For Hit

Jayam Ravi was one of the most popular actors in the Kollywood industry a few years ago, but for the past few years, his movies haven’t performed well in the box office collections.

Even though he acted as one of the leads in Mani Ratnam’s ambitious Ponniyin Selvan, it’s a multi-starrer movie, and he didn’t get his recognition for his performance in this movie. Then he acted in two movies, which were Iraivan and Siren, and both of these movies ended up being disasters.

Now he is currently acting as a lead in three movies which were Brothe, Genie, and Kadhalika Neramillai. All these movies don’t have any expectations, as these movies weren’t directed by popular directors.

In this scenario, there was strong speculation that Jayam Ravi is next going to appear as a lead in Karthik Subbaraj’s movie. Karthik Subbaraj is currently busy with the shooting of Suriya 44; once he completes this movie, his project with Jayam Ravi is expected to take off.
