
Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on February 21st.
With only a few days left until the release, the team is currently promoting the movie by giving interviews to popular YouTube channels.
In one of the recent interviews, Dragon’s director, Ashwath Marimuthu, revealed that he hadn’t taken a single extra scene and completed the film within the budget and timeline he had promised to the production house.
After this, many netizens on social media began criticizing director Shankar, as Shankar himself confessed in an interview that Game Changer’s final cut was around five hours long, leading to many good scenes being chopped in the edit.
Netizens commented that Shankar should learn basic filmmaking from newcomers like Ashwath Marimuthu, who deliver what they promise to producers, whereas Shankar is wasting producers’ money by shooting unnecessary scenes that are not even needed for the plot.
However, keeping this debate aside, Shankar has yet to announce his next project after Game Changer. As per rumors, no producers have come forward to back his next film.
