Ram Charan’s Game Changer, directed by Shankar, is all set to hit the screens on January 10th as a Pongal special.

With only a few days left before the release, SJ Suryah has been promoting the movie by giving interviews on popular YouTube channels.

In one of his recent interviews, SJ Suryah revealed details about the budget of Game Changer, which have now gone viral.

SJ Suryah stated that Game Changer was made with a budget of around ₹400 crores, with nearly ₹75 crores spent solely on the songs.

This revelation sparked criticism on social media, with many questioning Shankar’s approach. Some compared it to Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s Enthiran 2.0, a 3D movie with numerous jaw-dropping scenes, made on a budget of ₹545 crores.

Critics argued that Game Changer, being a mass commercial movie, does not require such a hefty production cost.

While high budgets are justified for visually demanding films, spending ₹400 crores on a mass entertainer seems excessive.

Many believe Shankar is misusing his brand value to justify the expenditure.

Nevertheless, Game Changer is now complete and ready for release.
