Nithilan Swaminathan entered Kollywood with this movie titled Kurangu Bommai, released in the year 2017. Then he directed Maharaja. Maharaja was a tremendous success, and he acquired lots of audiences with this movie. Now all eyes are on Nithilan Swaminathan for his next.

As per the strong industry buzz, Nithilan Swaminathan is planning to team up with Nayanthara for a women-centric movie, this film is said to be tentatively titled Maharani, and a popular production house, Passion Studios, is going to produce this movie. Nayanthara is currently playing the lead role in an untitled Kavin movie directed by Vishnu Eddavan; she is also said to be acting in a crucial role in Yash’s Toxic. Once she completes these projects, the shooting of this movie is going to start.
