Jailer 2: Rajini’s Stardom Not Enough?

Rajnikanth’s last release, which was Vettaiyan, was released on October 10th and has acquired mixed responses from the audiences. Parallely, he is also acting as a lead in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie.

In this scenario, there is strong speculation that after Coolie, Rajinikanth is joining hands once again with Nelson Dilipkumar for the blockbuster sequel of Jailer, which is Jailer 2.

Also, as per speculations, Nelson Dilipkumar is planning to cast Dhanush in a crucial role in Jailer 2. This has now been the talk of the town.

Starting from Jailer, which is a multi-starrer movie. It has Mohanlal, Tiger Shroff, and Shiva Rajkumar and has ended up as a huge blockbuster success and has done wonders in the box office collections.

Following Jailer, his next movie as a lead was Vettaiyan, and it also has Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. Vettaiyan is also a multi-starrer; even though it’s a multi-starrer movie, this movie ended up as a disaster in its theatrical run.

Rajinikanth’s Coolie movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is also a multi-starrer as it has Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, and Upendra Rao in the crucial roles. Now again in Jailer 2, Rajinikanth is planning to collaborate with Dhanush.
