The shooting of Vijay’s last movie, Jana Nayagan, is almost nearing its final stages, and the movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9th next year.

In this scenario, recently, Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju who also acted alongside Vijay in Jana Nayagan, while participating in a show, stated that Jana Nayagan may not be Vijay’s last film and that it depends on his 2026 election results. She also mentioned that Vijay himself had said this to her. This statement has now gone viral.

Earlier, Vijay had announced that Jana Nayagan would be his last movie and that after Jana Nayagan, he would concentrate solely on full-time politics and quit his acting career.

During Vijay’s announcement, Some people on social media responded that Vijay will return to acting after the 2026 election results, as he will lose for sure and will resume his acting career.

However, many Vijay fans have defended him, stating that Vijay will follow his decisions sincerely and will not return to acting, whatever the election results.

But now, after Mamitha Baiju’s statement, many netizens on social media have started sharing trolls against Vijay and have responded that it seems like the earlier prediction about Vijay’s political journey appears to be true, as he will most probably return to acting after a terrible loss in the 2026 election.
