Diwali Outright Disaster: Controversies Go Waste!

Jayam Ravi’s Brother movie was directed by M. Rajesh, who was recognized for his movies such as Siva Manasula Shakthi and Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga. Brother movie was released yesterday as a Diwali special and acquired mixed responses from the audiences.

Brother movie failed to create expectations among the audiences, as it was reflected in the occupancy of audience in theatres, even though it was distributed by Red Giant Movies and acquired a good screen count, it wasn’t able to bring more audience to theatres.

The audience who have so far watched this Brother movie has been sharing negative responses for this movie, as the movie feels flat and isn’t exciting for the audience, and also the comedy portions don’t work.

Because of mixed responses from the audiences, now Brother movie is getting dipped in bookings, and in many centers, the occupancy of the audience for this movie is less than 40%, according to the trade sources.

Before Brother movie release, there were lots of allegations and divorce issues against Jayam Ravi’, and it created a lot of commotion among the audience, but the controversies too didn’t help for this movie says the audience.

Jayam Ravi’s last 5 movies except Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2 all his other movies were disasters, and he needs a comeback. Let us hope his next movie, Genie, which is now made with a budget of 100 crores, gives him the much-needed comeback.
