Following the critically acclaimed success of Aaranya Kaandam and Super Deluxe, cult director Thiagarajan Kumararaja is now directing his third film titled Pocket Novel starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.

Since the announcement, Pocket Novel has carried huge expectations among audiences, as it is the second film from the Vijay Sethupathi and Thiagarajan Kumararaja duo following Super Deluxe. According to reports, the shooting of this film is now happening at a fast pace and 50% of the film’s shooting has already been completed.

In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that Thiagarajan Kumararaja is planning to cast director Karthik Subbaraj to play a police officer in the film. If this buzz becomes true, it will be director Karthik Subbaraj’s acting debut.
