Rajinikanth as Villain? Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Fantasy

Lokesh Kanagaraj, in a recent interview, revealed his initial idea for Rajinikanth before Coolie, which has now gone viral on social media.

He stated that the script he wrote for Rajinikanth before Coolie featured him in a villain role, with another actor playing the protagonist. However, it was a huge fantasy film, requiring a massive cast and almost two years just for pre-production.

Furthermore, he mentioned that he didn’t want to waste Rajinikanth sir’s peak time, which is why he came up with a new idea: Coolie.

Following this revelation, netizens responded that it would be a blast if it happened, as many Kollywood audiences are eagerly waiting to witness Rajinikanth in a full-fledged villainous role.

Therefore, they are requesting Lokesh Kanagaraj to direct that movie if Coolie becomes a blockbuster success and if they have an opportunity to collaborate again.

Nevertheless, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s recent interview is now going viral across social media, and the updates he provided about Coolie have increased anticipation for the movie.

It remains to be seen whether Coolie emerges as a blockbuster success and achieves the dream 1000-crore mark for Kollywood upon its release on August 14th.
