Sivakarthikeyan’s fans are excited about the release of his much-anticipated film, Madharasi. In the midst of all this, rumors are abuzz that the actor will also be collaborating with Good Night fame Vinayak Chandrasekhar for his 24th film.
What’s more exciting is that Mohanlal will reportedly play Sivakarthikeyan’s father in the same film. The story is said to focus on a strong and emotional father-son bond.
However, there’s no official confirmation from Sivakarthikeyan, Mohanlal, or the maker’s side yet about this upcoming drama.
Earlier, Mohanlal had also played Thalapathy Vijay’s father in the 2014 film Jilla. The action drama received mixed reviews from the audience upon its release into the theaters.
Meanwhile, the Malayalam star is all over the news owing to his latest set of hits within a month, including Thudaram and L2: Empuraan. The crime drama is directed by Tharun Moorthy and follows the life of a simple man who suddenly gets caught in a police vendetta.
On the other hand, Sivakarthikeyan is also involved in the shoot of Parasakthi, which also features Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa Murali in prominent roles.
Now, with Sivakarthikeyan and Mohanlal coming together for the first time as a father-son duo, it is yet to be seen whether the audience likes the pair or not.
