Nayanthara’s Next with Vijay: Outdated Director?

Vijay Sethupathi made a massive comeback in Kollywood with the movie Maharaja. After Maharaja, his movie Viduthalai Part 2 with Vetrimaaran was released a few days ago and has received mixed responses from the audiences.

Parallelly, he is now acting as a lead in two movies: one, Train, directed by Mysskin, and the other, Ace, directed by P. Aarumugakumar. Now, as per strong buzz, Vijay Sethupathi has added another movie to his lineup.

According to the buzz, Vijay Sethupathi has signed his next with director Hari, who is known for his Singam movie franchise. This movie is going to be produced by Nayanthara’s Rowdy Pictures.

Although Hari is a proven commercial director, after Singam 3, most of his movies didn’t work well. He is considered to have become outdated now.

Also, Vijay Sethupathi is acting in more content-oriented movies, but Hari is a specialist in delivering commercial entertainers. Whether this combination works is a big question mark, say the audiences after the buzz.

On the other hand, some people on social media responded that although Vijay Sethupathi is known for his content-oriented movies, he needs commercial entertainer movies to push his market to the next level. So, Vijay Sethupathi has made a wise decision to act in a Hari movie.
