Fans had high expectations with A. R. Murugadoss and his film Sikandar, but it did not turn out to be as expected. And now, the director will be collaborating with Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan.
A. R. Murugadoss has worked with big stars like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Mahesh Babu, Vijay and Rajinikanth but his brand value seems to be diminished at this point of time. He has no 200 crore film till now. He had one chance to revive his glory with Sikandar but it failed.
Now Murugadoss and Sivakarthikeyan will be coming together for Madharasi and fans have high hopes for the film. Sivakarthkeyan is not as big a star as Salman, Aamir or Vijay but he is rising fast and making very good script choices too. His performance in movies like ‘Ayalaan’ and ‘Maaveeran’ have been praised and his ‘Amaran’ was a major success.
There is a possibility that Madharasi does what Sikandar failed to do in the theaters. Amaran made 220 crores at the box office, and Sivakarthikeyan can work a wonder to give Murugadoss a 200 crore film as well. It will indeed be a big thing for fans to see him do what a star like Salman could not.
Fans are keeping their hopes high with Madharasi now, and hopefully, it will not disappoint them.
