Rajinikanth, after finishing Coolie, is now playing the lead in Nelson Dilipkumar’s much-awaited sequel Jailer 2. Reports confirm that nearly 70% of the film’s shooting is already complete, raising expectations among fans and movie lovers.
During a recent media interaction, Rajinikanth revealed that Jailer 2 will hit theatres on June 12, 2026. His statement spread quickly across social media, with fans and trackers sharing the update widely and sparking discussions everywhere.
Soon after, some people on social media criticised Rajinikanth for announcing the release date before the production house made an official statement. They argued that such a big pan-Indian film deserved a grand announcement rather than a casual reveal.
Meanwhile, a few Kollywood trackers suggested that the team is aiming for a June 2026 release but has not yet finalised the exact date. According to them, Rajinikanth may have mentioned June 12 without confirmation from the production side.
Despite the confusion, Rajinikanth’s fans have already started celebrating this update. Whether Jailer 2 actually arrives on June 12 or later, the buzz around the film has only grown stronger with this revelation.
