Rajini with Most Controversial Director: Possible?

Rajinikanth is currently acting as a lead in Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj; also, he has announced his next project after Coolie, which is Jailer 2 with Nelson Dilipkumar.

Now there is a strong buzz that Vetrimaaran has narrated a script to Rajinikanth, and Rajinikanth has been impressed with the script and has given a green signal, so most probably after Jailer 2, this project might take off.

For this many people on social media were responding that Rajinikanth should not act in a Vetrimaaran kind of director’s movies, as initially he had worked with Pa Ranjith on 2 movies, such as Kaala and Kabali. At the same time, his recently released Vettaiyan movie was also a genre-specific movie, but none of them worked well for the actor.

Directors like Vetrimaaran and Pa Ranjith will use Rajinikanth’s star power to direct their propaganda movies, and such films will not be helpful for Rajinikanth, say the Netizens.

Earlier buzz suggested that Rajinikanth might collaborate with Mari Selvaraj for a movie, but now Mari Selvaraj has been ruled out. Vetrimaaran is most likely to join hands with the actor.
