Sivakarthikeyan: “Morphed My Face, Made Me Addict”

Sivakarthikeyan is busy promoting his film Madharaasi, which is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 5. He has been attending events and giving interviews as part of the promotion.

In a recent interview, his reply to a question about fake thumbnails and rumours went viral. Sivakarthikeyan admitted he has faced many such issues over the years, including morphed images and misleading claims.

He recalled how, during Amaran, a fake picture of him with an eight pack was circulated by morphing his face. More recently, edited images accused him of using steroids and losing his health, which he clarified were baseless.

Some fans have supported him, saying it is good that he has spoken openly about fake news targeting him. They feel social media has been flooded with such rumours aimed at tarnishing his reputation.

The viral eight pack images of Amaran were first shared by his fans but were later clarified as fake by Sivakarthikeyan himself. After this, haters began spreading another image linking him to steroids, which also went viral.

Sivakarthikeyan, however, does not take these rumours seriously. He addressed them with humour, and his comments have now gone viral, drawing widespread reactions from fans and netizens alike.
