Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, was initially announced by the team as a Pongal release, but now there is a strong buzz that Vidaamuyarchi’s release is going to be postponed.
According to the buzz, due to the delay in post-production work for Vidaamuyarchi, the movie’s release may be postponed.
If Vidaamuyarchi opts out of the Pongal race, Ram Charan’s Game Changer has a huge chance to become a blockbuster success in Tamil Nadu.
Ajith Kumar is a big star in Kollywood. If Vidaamuyarchi had been released as planned, Game Changer might have faced difficulties in acquiring theaters in Tamil Nadu, as, even though Game Changer is directed by Shankar, it’s a Telugu movie, and only the Tamil-dubbed version would have been released in Tamil Nadu.
Game Changer’s success in all territories in the Indian market is much needed for Ram Charan to become a pan-Indian star, so Vidaamuyarchi’s postponement is a big plus for Game Changer’s success in Tamil Nadu.
Still, there haven’t been any official announcements from the production house about Vidaamuyarchi’s postponement. Let us wait for a few more days for the official updates from Lyca Productions regarding the release date of Vidaamuyarchi.
