Veera Dheera Sooran: Will OTT Buyer Step in Now?

Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran Part-2 (VDS), directed by S. U. Arun Kumar, was released in theatres on March 27 and has received positive responses from audiences.

VDS faced several hurdles on its release day due to the OTT rights holder being unable to sell their rights before the theatrical release. Additionally, they filed a case against the VDS production team in the Supreme Court.

Many viewers who watched the movie have shared positive feedback, with social media users stating that VDS marks a solid comeback for Vikram after multiple setbacks.

However, the film’s OTT rights have still not been acquired by any platform. With strong word-of-mouth from audiences, it is expected that leading OTT platforms will now show interest in securing the rights.

It remains to be seen which OTT platform will acquire VDS, how it will perform at the box office in the coming days, and whether it will emerge as a blockbuster success.
