Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on February 6. With just a few days left before the release, pre-bookings for the movie have started in many centers across the country.
According to reports, Vidaamuyarchi will be released in more than 1,000 theatres across Tamil Nadu. Previously, Ajith Kumar’s Valimai had a similar release strategy in the state and collected ₹38 crore on its first day.
Despite a massive release, the bookings for Vidaamuyarchi are average in many centers. However, in major cities like Chennai, ticket sales are picking up well, with most theatres already selling out their first-day shows.
In contrast, bookings in B and C centers remain underwhelming, with some netizens on social media attributing this to the film’s lackluster promotions.
Despite the low buzz, Vidaamuyarchi is set for a grand theatrical release. It remains to be seen whether the film meets audience expectations and emerges as a success on February 6.
