Following the disaster of Ace, Vijay Sethupathi is returning with Thalaivan Thalaivii, directed by Pandiraj, which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 25th.
With only a few days left for the release, the Thalaivan Thalaivii team is currently promoting the movie by giving interviews and conducting events.
In one such event, Vijay Sethupathi was questioned by a reporter about his views on social media reviews and trolls, to which Vijay Sethupathi’s response has now gone viral.
Vijay Sethupathi stated that, “We are releasing a film to the public; we cannot dictate how they should watch the movie. We have cooked and served them, so their comments are their point of view on the movie, and we just need to rectify ourselves based on these comments.”
Following this, netizens responded that Vijay Sethupathi is one of the smartest actors in the Kollywood industry. Unlike other actors, he knows how to take feedback positively; he doesn’t cry or crib about reviews, and he corrects himself after constructive feedback.
Whereas some actors think of themselves as supreme and feel no reviewers have the authority to pinpoint flaws in their work, says Kollywood audiences.
Nevertheless, Vijay Sethupathi’s Thalaivan Thalaivii has a decent pre-release buzz, and it remains to be seen whether it emerges as a blockbuster success and helps Vijay Sethupathi to make a solid comeback after the disastrous Ace.
