Will Nayanthara Lift or Drown Siddharth on OTT?

Siddharth, Nayanthara, and Madhavan’s The Test movie, directed by S. Sashikanth, was going to be released soon directly on the Netflix OTT platform. The shooting of this movie was completed last year, yet due to some issues, this movie was still not released.

According to the reports, The Test movie team has sold its OTT rights to the Netflix OTT platform, and it was expected that Netflix would announce this movie on their Kollywood lineup released as #NetflixPandigai a few days ago, but Netflix hasn’t given any updates about this movie.

Even though the movie has 3 popular stars in Kollywood, still the team has planned to release directly on OTT. Post-COVID, direct OTT releases were a rare scenario; some small-budget movies were released, but big-star movies weren’t released directly on OTT post-pandemic.

Apart from the direct OTT release, Siddharth has been in his worst phase for the past few years. One or two of his movies ended up as successful ones, but most of them were failures.

However, the movie is going to be released soon on Netflix, and more probably, The Test will be Siddharth’s next release. Let us see whether Nayanthara saves Siddharth from his setbacks or drowns together with The Test movie.
