Bharat GPT; India’s Tailor Made AI

A couple of days ago, one report hit the market, which ranked India in the 15th place in the AI ranking but also mentioned that it has the most potential, and India might be tapping into the right place.

The name is Bharat GPT, a joint venture of Reliance Jio and IIT Bombay to discover the future of tech and also gift India its own generative AI.

Reliance Jio’s Akash Ambani revealed the transformative impact of Bharat GPT, an AI initiative set to permeate all facets of the company.

Collaborating with IIT Bombay, the project aims to integrate AI vertically and horizontally across diverse sectors, reflecting a strategic commitment to technological advancement.

Jio, led by Chairman Akash Ambani, plans to launch its TV operating system, emphasizing ongoing comprehensive development. While the release date for Bharat GPT is undisclosed, Jio is expected to announce it in early 2024. Ambani hints at Jio 2.0, providing no details.

The primary focus is on Jio’s proprietary TV OS and the anticipation surrounding the forthcoming announcement of the Bharat GPT release.
