Indian Coders To Be Replaced In 2 Years?

The use of AI in every sector is increasing day by day, which acts as a potential threat to people doing 9-5 jobs. Coding is one such emerging job among millennials that is creating a huge impact on the market. No one could have thought that this new job opportunity would be diminishing so soon.

Emad Mostaque, the CEO of Stability AI, which generates open-source images, recently spoke about the future of outsourced coders. In the upcoming years, most traditional coding will be done by AI, and therefore, we will be needing fewer coders. This AI revolution is going to affect all the major sectors, reducing the workforce. According to him, there will be no programmers in 5 years, as their work will be done by AI tools.

Mostaque also says: “Why would a company need a traditional coder when AI can do better coding than the person in less time? But there is also a thing that these AI tools can’t do everything on their own. They will act as co-pilots and will be guided by the people.”

Are these tools actually benefitting society? In the case of coding where things the mostly technical this can be a great tool. But bringing these into creating field can cause harm as AI-created works tend to miss that human touch. What do you think about this AI revolution?
