X to Remove Another Huge Fun Feature Soon

“X” has decided to make the likes private so that no one can be judged for what they like. Internet is a place that allows people to be completely free when expressing their thoughts as well as it allows people to consume content without any hesitation. But with the explosive wide spread of internet availability active users of social media has also increased which suggests that there will be more people getting upset with something or the other.

The latest decision of prvatizing the likes on the social media platform “X” formerly known as twitter seems to cater to that section of audience. It is similar to youtube hiding the dislikes on their platform.

One argument is that it will help remove negativity and avoid someone getting trolled but on the other hand, these features connect people to eachother and it allows others to know people on a different level.

Getting to know who likes what is a fun feature for many and social media banter is a part of what makes it more of a free space for most. Omitting features to avoid trolls might not be the best approach in a long run for these tech giants as it hampers the user experience for a lot of people as well.
