Air India Horror: 200 Passengers Trapped in Flight

Air India is under fire once again after a technical fault turned a Delhi-Singapore flight into a nightmare for over 200 passengers. The situation raised questions about passenger care and operational preparedness.

Air-Conditioning Failure Causes Chaos

The late-night flight suffered a major air-conditioning and power system failure. Passengers were already seated when the problem occurred, leaving them inside the aircraft for nearly two hours without cooling before being asked to deboard.

Passengers Left Frustrated

With no functioning AC, the cabin quickly became hot and suffocating. Passengers reported feeling anxious and restless. Many criticised the airline for poor communication and lack of updates during the long wait.

Safety Prioritised, Comfort Ignored

The flight was eventually cancelled to avoid safety risks. While this decision was necessary, passengers felt basic facilities and communication were lacking, worsening their experience and fuelling anger on social media.

Air India Faces Scrutiny

This incident is yet another setback for Air India, which has faced frequent service lapses despite Tata Group’s takeover. Passengers expect reliable crisis management and contingency planning, not just new aircraft orders and promises of revival.
