The airport will begin domestic and cargo services in September 2025, with international flights following in November. The first phase features a single runway, a 100,000-square-meter terminal, and 28 aircraft stands, designed to handle initial passenger volumes efficiently.

Though modest at the start, the airport is built for modular growth. Within three years, it is expected to accommodate 12 million passengers annually. Long-term plans aim to handle up to 70 million passengers, making it the largest airport in Asia once fully completed.

The airport’s location near Agra, Mathura, Ghaziabad, and Greater Noida positions it as a key gateway for domestic and international travelers. It is expected to boost tourism, attract investment, and contribute significantly to economic development in western Uttar Pradesh.
