
A first-time business-class passenger flying United Airlines from Newark to Dublin has shared a disappointing experience, calling it the worst among major US airlines.
Poor Meal and Service Experience
The traveller said that while the seat was comfortable, the in-flight meal was inedible the worst food they had ever been served on a plane. What made things worse was the disorganized cabin crew, who frequently forgot passenger requests and failed to offer basic services like refilling water or checking in during the flight.
Expectations vs. Reality
The passenger didn’t expect luxury but did hope for a professional level of service, especially for a premium ticket. Instead, they found United’s business-class service far below what American Airlines or Delta typically provide.
Frustration and Reconsideration
Their main frustration came from the poor dining experience and the crew’s lack of attentiveness, which ruined the sense of a “premium” journey. The passenger now says they’re reconsidering a planned trip to Hawaii booked with the same airline.
United’s Reputation Under Question
