4 Indian Origin Men Sacked For Political Murder

Harnek Singh, an Indian origin Auckland based radio host got attacked by some four men while driving on the night of 23 December 2020. He survived half a dozen wounds and a nearly severed army, as his car was rammed near the driveway of his home by a van.

Harnek has a good social media following with over half a million YouTube subscribers. The trial for the attempted murder of the radio host began, where four accused are on trial. Other three have pleaded guilty while the eighth conspirator may testify against his fellow mates.

Harnek has shared his views in favour of the Farm Laws that the Indian government had introduced in 2020. But after widespread protests, the government had repealed them in 2021.

The four accused had the intention of killing Harnek and there have been rumours of them being linked with Khalistanis. As per the reports, the attempt was made on Harnek’s life and had resulted in several injuries but with he survived.

The separatists groups, especially Khalistanis, have been trying their best to target India and Indians wherever they can. Few months ago a group of Indian students were attacked with rods in Australia. These are just a few incidents in a very long list.
