Another Death Of Indian Student In Ohio!

Why are Indian “Students” not safe outside their own country?

Since the very beginning of 2024, probably half a half a dozen of Indian American and Indian Origin students have died in the US.

A 23-year-old, Indian American student Sameer Kamath who used to study at Purdue University, was found dead in a nature preserve in Indiana on February 5.

A 41-year-old Indian-origin IT executive, Vivek Taneja suffered near death injuries during an assault outside a restaurant in Washington, On February 2, making it the seventh death of an Indian or Indian-American in recent months in the US.

And recently another Indian Origin student died in the city of Ohio. An Investigations about the case is going on. The authorities mentioned that they are in touch with the family in India.

The Consulate General of India in New York said in a post on X that, “Deeply saddened by the unfortunate demise of Mr Uma Satya Sai Gadde, an Indian student in Cleveland, Ohio”.

This is an ongoing problem Indians face in foreign land. Starting from race discrimination to now death, the struggle is never ending.
