Another Telugu Youth Shot At in Tennessee

A young Telugu, Mohan Sai Pothugunta is in critical condition following being hit by gun shots. He was shot multiple times while sitting in his car in East Memphis, Tennessee.

The media reports say that the gunman approached Sai when he was sitting in his friend’s car outside an apartment building at 11.30 pm.

Two shots were fired at Sai from the front window, one in his shoulder and one in upper arm. Sai drove off immediately to a nearby gas station, where he called 911.

He was then rushed to a hospital where his condition is said to be critical. Meanwhile, his sister Sujana Peram posted on gofundme.com and money is pouring in for Sai.

She said her family was devastated by the sudden incident and was in urgent need of support. She said he was in intensive medical care and wanted her community to help him.

So far, $15,000 have been collected. Police haven’t found any clues of the suspect yet and are on a lookout. Further details are awaited.
