Sandeep Singh, alias Sunny, and Pradeep Singh were arrested at Amritsar airport in connection with a murder case filed in Rajpura in June 2023. Sandeep, along with four others, was named in the FIR, and Pradeep’s name was later added during the investigation.
Punjab Police had been closely monitoring the deportees and deployed a team to arrest the two men as soon as they arrived. The police quickly took them into custody, ensuring they would face trial in India.
