Beyond Shock: Indian Student’s Incident!

A 25-year-old student from India tragically passed away in Ontario, Canada, due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Reports say a car was left running in the garage, causing dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.

Emergency services rushed to a Kitchener city home early Tuesday after a gas leak report. The Waterloo Regional Police found high carbon monoxide levels, and the source was a running vehicle in the garage. Seven people, including the student, were affected and taken to the hospital. Sadly, one person didn’t make it.

The victim, a recent graduate, whose name wasn’t disclosed, was the first to wake up that Tuesday. Opening the garage door, he collapsed due to inhaling the toxic fumes.

The family is devastated, questioning why this happened to their son. The departed soul’s family and friends are working with officials to bring the student’s body back to India quickly. Waiting for a week or more is heartbreaking for the family, and they’re doing everything possible to expedite the process.

Deputy Fire Chief Chris Davidson revealed another distressing detail – there were no working carbon monoxide alarms in the home. Despite being mandatory, this oversight highlighted a preventable tragedy, leaving the community mourning the loss of a young life.
