Calls For Netflix Boycott Rises In America!

The presidential elections in the United States is not just a test for the two nominees fighting for the top job but also the corporations which back these leaders. In the age of the internet, it is almost impossible to hide something as news travels faster than ever before. Sometimes it can be a cause of concern for businesses as it happened with Netflix because of one announcement by the co-founder.

Kamala Harris’ nomination for the presidential race has sparked a new excitement and energy among the voters and it is making them donate generously for the campaign. One such donation came from Reed Hastings, the co-founder of Netflix. He donated $7 million for the campaign and the conservatives are not happy about it.

Republicans are calling for a boycott of Netflix on the grounds of Reed’s support for Kamala Harris. The air in America smells like politics and it is very uncertain who will feel the burn of it. Many Republicans took to X and declared that they canceled their Netflix subscription because of this donation.

The political scene has changed after Harris’ nomination and she is standing almost equal to Trump. The Republicans are also concerned by this growing support for her which was evident by the collection of $81 million in just 24 hours of nomination.
