Vivek Wadhwa, an Indian-American author, entrepreneur, and professor, has alerted Elon Musk, the inventor of Tesla, about his preference for China over India.
Wadhwa asserted that he had counselled Musk to think about shifting production to India and alerted him to the dangers in China. Wadhwa attacked Musk on social media for his failure in China.
Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has received advice from Indian-American entrepreneur and scholar Vivek Wadhwa that selecting China for manufacturing would “rob him blind.”
Wadhwa and Musk have already spoken about the dangers in China, with Wadhwa claiming that short-term gains and the transfer of technology, managerial strategies, and know-how are the reasons why US and European manufacturers are failing in China. Additionally, he has requested Musk to think about shifting production to India.
