Finally, H1B Stampings in Bengaluru!

For those who don’t follow immigration news regularly, it may come as a surprise that an IT hub like Bangalore, known for its global prominence, still doesn’t have a U.S. consulate in the city.

Residents of Bangalore have traditionally relied on Hyderabad or Chennai to secure visa appointments, as these two cities have been their go-to locations for several years.

However, that’s about to change, as Bangalore is finally getting its own U.S. consulate, set to open on Friday, January 17th. The exact location has not yet been officially revealed to the media, but speculation suggests it could be in the Central Business District or Whitefield.

Once the Bangalore U.S. consulate opens, more visa slots will become available, benefiting those seeking H-1B and other visa appointments. It’s expected to be in high demand, with people from Hyderabad and Chennai likely seeking visa dates in Bangalore as well.

This development is a major win for Bangalore residents and an additional option for those from Hyderabad and Chennai, who often struggle to secure visa appointments due to limited availability.
