First EV Gas Station Opens in This U.S. State

EVs (Electric Vehicles) are the new craze in the U.S., and it’s no exaggeration to say there’s hardly a single Desi household settled in the U.S. without an EV, like Tesla.

Many install home chargers and charge their Teslas at home, but businesses always anticipate the future. Along those lines, the first-ever EV charging station opened in South Carolina. While we call it a ‘gas station,’ it doesn’t dispense gas—it just looks like a regular gas station, with charging outlets replacing gas pumps, and a convenience store that looks the same inside.

The impressive part is that this station can accommodate up to 40 different EV models.

However, a key challenge for EV stations is the charging time, unlike traditional gas stations where you fill up in minutes. That’s why this EV station brand, called Rove, offers night security to ensure safety during longer charging times.

It’s only a matter of time before these stations spread across every state
