US visa applicants in India are frustrated as the system fails to provide relief. Even after booking H-1B and F-1 visa slots, many do not receive any confirmation, leaving their plans in limbo.
Slots Appear but Stay Unconfirmed
Applicants report seeing slots for September and October 2025 in Chennai and Hyderabad. However, when they try to book, no confirmation arrives. The issue continues for hours as the same slots keep reappearing.
Surge in Demand After Policy Changes
The US recently ended interview waivers and third-country visa stamping, forcing more applicants to return to Indian consulates. This has increased the rush and made booking slots even harder.
Limited Slots and High Frustration
The system is under heavy load with very few slots available. Applicants are stuck refreshing the visa portal in hopes of securing a confirmed date.
Growing Delays and Anxiety
Booking a visa appointment has become a stressful daily routine for many. More delays are expected, leaving applicants worried as their plans hang by a thread.
