Hinduja’s Servants Earn Less Than The Dogs!

Hinduja Family, the UK’s richest, have been in the limelight for over a century for all sorts of news be it business, charity and whatnot. This time they are making headlines all across the world for something they would have liked to avoid.

They are facing a lawsuit against inhumane treatment of their house servants, who as per the prosecution, earns less than what the Hindujas spend yearly on their pets.

Servants have to work hours a day, seven days a week for a mere salary of $8. In contrast, they spend $9,669 on their family pet. Their contracts did not specify working hours or leave days. They even have to be available as per the needs of the employer. To make it even worse, their passports were confiscated and they were not allowed to leave the house without the employer’s permission.

Hindujas Lawyer has tried to tone down the situation with several arguments yet the prosecution doesn’t seem to accept it.

If the allegations are true then it should be dealt in the strictest possible manner because the ultra rich think that they could get away with anything with the power of their money. This thought process is the reason that many exploited people don’t speak up against them and continue to live the life of inequality and deprivation.
