Indian Man Defeats US Government In Trial

In a landmark case of Missouri v. Biden, the US government has been defeated by an Indian American professor at Stanford University whose opinions and views regarding COVID protocols were deemed controversial. The ruling of the federal court prohibits the US government from censoring any kind of speech they don’t like by pressuring social media companies.

Jayanta Bhattacharya, born in Kolkata, is a scientist who co-authored the famous Great Barrington Declaration that criticized the lockdown policies implemented by governments all over the world. It was found that the US government threatened social media companies to censor any information they didn’t like. This violated the right to free speech given to every American.

He stressed the importance of a free environment for the scientific community in order to grow. The case would set a new precedent allowing scientists to put forth their theories without any fear. During the course of investigation, the court allowed them to see the internal emails proving to be the evidence for the government threatening these companies with regulatory actions.

Another author of the Great Barrington Declaration, Dr Sunetra Gupta is also an Indian. They came together during the pandemic in 2020 as they shared similar ideas.
