Indian Origin People In USA Write Against Hate Crime

A group of Indian origin people in the USA has written a letter to the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, expressing their concern over the recent hate crime against Sikhs in Indianapolis. The letter was sent by the Punjabi Association of America, a non-profit organization that works for the welfare of the Punjabi community in the USA.

The letter also highlighted the contributions of Sikhs and other Indian origin people to the American society and economy. The letter said that Sikhs have been living in the USA for over a century and have served in various fields such as agriculture, business, education, health care, military, and public service. It said that Sikhs and other Indian origin people share the values of democracy, freedom, and human rights with their fellow Americans.

It appealed to the US Secretary of State to use his influence and authority to ensure that justice is served to the victims and their families, and that such hate crimes are not repeated in the future.

The letter also requested him to visit the Sikh community in Indianapolis and express his solidarity with them.
