Indian Shot Dead In Mexico City

With every passing day, street violence and burglaries are being more and more common. And this time, Mexico reports a heart renching event as an Indian origin was shot dead while driving.

As per the reports, the man was driving on a viaduct as two motorbikes, containing four people approached him. The riders demanted to halt his car but as the man disobeyed, one of the riders fired multiple shots at him, resulting in death.

After the gunfire, the driver lost control of the car as it swirled along the avenue. This resulted upon other drives feeling the scene as they had no intention to get caught into this.

There was one other passanger in the car who comes out unharmed and later reports on this event. Additionally, they were coming back from Mexico City’s International Airport (AICM) and purchased $10,000.

According to a statement by the Secretariat of Citizen Security, the co-pilot mentioned they had left an airport exchange house and were later intercepted by individuals on motorcycles at their destination. These individuals then resorted to violence, firing shots and forcibly taking the money.

This event amplifies Mexico’s violence problems, even as of this month, there has been multiple incidents of Jwellary shop robery and street violence.

People are now expecting more protection for the Government of Mexico. As of now, Mexico hosts around 8000 Indians and among them, one fifth are living in Mexico City. Events like thiese will cause nothing but panic among the citizens and raise more concerns.
