
As per the reports, the man was driving on a viaduct as two motorbikes, containing four people approached him. The riders demanted to halt his car but as the man disobeyed, one of the riders fired multiple shots at him, resulting in death.
After the gunfire, the driver lost control of the car as it swirled along the avenue. This resulted upon other drives feeling the scene as they had no intention to get caught into this.
There was one other passanger in the car who comes out unharmed and later reports on this event. Additionally, they were coming back from Mexico City’s International Airport (AICM) and purchased $10,000.
According to a statement by the Secretariat of Citizen Security, the co-pilot mentioned they had left an airport exchange house and were later intercepted by individuals on motorcycles at their destination. These individuals then resorted to violence, firing shots and forcibly taking the money.
