Indian Student (19) Killed in CA, Tragedy

As more students and Indians leave for foreign countries, we hear increasing tragic and heartbreaking stories alongside their success stories.

Here is one such true tragic story that no family could even dare to imagine about their youngest son.

Varsil Patel, a 19-year-old studying in Ontario, Canada, became a victim of a road accident. He was hit by a car while crossing the road and passed away on the spot.

Varsil was originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

At approximately 10:15 p.m. on Friday, emergency services responded to a serious collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Big Bay Point Road and Leggott Avenue in Barrie’s south end.

The driver has been arrested, and the heavily damaged vehicle caught fire and was extinguished by fire crews at the scene.

While this news tears his parents and family apart, we offer sincere condolences and pray that his soul rests in peace and his family finds strength during these extremely difficult times.
