Studying in foreign countries like the UK is always something Indians love. It has always been a better source of opportunity, education, and even research. Studying abroad comes with its own challenges. You have your student visa and are allowed to stay there until your academic session continues. This has been quite troublesome for students.
The National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) UK is an organization that works for the students there and has been campaigning about the “fair visa fair chance” program. It means that those students who have completed their graduation in the UK can stay there for two years to gain some work experience, which will help them in better career opportunities. Such a deal will also help them earn some money after their college life, which they can use for living expenses abroad.
Following the campaign, UK Home Secretary James Cleverly asked the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to review the graduation visa plan and its effectiveness.
It is also a fact that Indian students, especially those on student visas, contribute significantly to the UK economy by working there. This plan works great for both the students and the UK. Do let us know your thoughts on the situation.
