A video of a Sikh man defending his grocery store from a robber at a 7-Eleven in California has gone viral on social media. However, what has caught people’s attention is the response to the incident.

It is common for Indian folks, by nature, to be mild-mannered and not react strongly to racism or even physical attacks, often leaving such incidents unreported in the U.S.

However, there has been an overwhelming response to the two Sikh men who took action against the black robber attempting to steal from their store.
