The ongoing war between Israel and Palestine has had the world divided. While people are accusing supporters of Israel as supporters of Genocide, those who stand with Palestine are labelled anti-semitic. It is definitely a tough spot to be for anyone. But this is also the time when you cannot afford to stay neutral. The Jewish community in the USA has honored an Indian origin doctor for his open support to Israel and his fight against anti semitism.
Dr Bharat Barai issued a statement saying,”we stand with you our Jewish brothers and sisters.” He has been an advocate of the India-Israel relationship and believes that it could help strengthen unity between India, America and Israel. He was offered with an award for standing against anti-Semitism.
Dr Bharat believes that all Hindus condemn the attack of Hamas on the Israeli territory and offer complete solidarity to the Jewish people all over the world. He received a standing ovation from a crowd of Jewish people as he justified Israel’s counter attack on the Gaza strip to this extent. He accused Palestine of playing the victim card and the media as well for promoting a fabricated truth.
