Investigators learned about a drug trafficking organization (DTO) in California that planned to transport methamphetamine and other drugs to Boston.

Undercover agents posed as buyers and arranged to purchase 65 pounds (32 kilograms) of methamphetamine.

On July 29, around 10:15 PM, a white tractor-trailer arrived at a prearranged location in Andover to deliver the drugs.

Simranjit Singh and Gusimrat Singh, the driver and passenger, handed over the methamphetamine to the undercover agents and were immediately arrested.

During a search of the tractor-trailer, authorities found over 400 kilograms of suspected cocaine, valued at more than $10.5 million.

The charge of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison, at least three years to life of supervised release, and a fine of up to $1,000,000.

Sentences are determined by a federal judge based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines.
