Newlywed NRI Woman Burned in Car: Shocking Twist

A 30 year old woman from Ludhiana was found dead in a burned car in British Columbia, Canada. This happened about a month ago. She had gone to Canada six years earlier on a study visa. She got married only seven months ago.

On October 26, police found her body in a car fire on Highway 17. At first, they thought it was an accident. Later, police noticed some suspicious details. The case was given to the Major Crime Section.

On November 6, police arrested her husband’s younger brother, who is 24 years old. They first charged him for moving her body from one place to another. On November 25, he was also charged with second degree murder. He is still in jail and will go to court on December 11.

The woman’s father moved to Canada almost twenty years ago and lives there with family. Her wedding took place in Canada, so no ceremony happened in her village. People in her home village are very sad. They hope the police in Canada will give justice to her family. word count?
