Possesive Boyfriend Kills Girlfriend For Partying

Male insecurities have always been a hurdle in many relationships. But when this manifests into its extreme form it takes the shape of abuse and violence. A similar case is coming from the state of Utah, USA, where a young man shot his teenage girlfriend because she went to a party alone. The man accused his girlfriend of ‘ignoring his feelings’ when she made plans without him.

The couple allegedly shared an abusive and violent relationship and this was not the first time she was abused. The man had threatened the girl that she would be in trouble if she went to the party. He later followed her and said that he was not afraid to punch her in front of everyone. Later in the night when she was in the backseat of her friend’s car, he knelt down and shot on her knees.

With toxic masculinity being served as an ‘alpha lifestyle’ and self proclaimed gurus like Andrew Tate advocating for male dominance, such cases are on the rise and are taking the form of criminal offenses. The accused has been arrested and is currently held at South Lake County jail. No bail has been granted to him.
