Donald Trump has emerged victorious in the 2024 presidential race and there is one person who deserves his flowers for playing a huge part in this victory.
The richest man in the world, Elon Musk has been the biggest cheerleader of Trump throughout his campaign. From his online attacks on the opposition to spending more than $100 million on the Republican campaign, he has been the anchor that Trump needed.
However, the biggest turning point has to be the acquisition of Twitter and changing its policies. Trump, who was banned from one of the biggest social media platforms, returned to the site after its revamp into X, which gave his campaign a huge boost.
This is not just a one-way street as Musk is going to equally benefit from his friend at the White House. Early signs were immediately evident as Tesla shares were up 14% following election results.
On top of that, the new US president had promised that Musk would have a role in his cabinet. Let’s see what the future holds with this new billionaire duo ruling America.
