The final stages of the U.S. election campaign have wrapped up, and polling is underway in various states, including early starts in New Hampshire. According to Nate Silver’s popular analysis site, FiveThirtyEight, Harris has recently edged back into contention, narrowing Trump’s lead in certain regions. Their final analysis reveals that Harris has a slim edge, with a 50.015% chance of winning, while Trump is close behind at 49.985%.

Different surveys have highlighted mixed results. The Harris-X Forbes reports a slight lead for Trump, with 49% support to Harris’s 48%.

NBS News predicts an extremely close race, noting that abortion laws and enthusiasm among Democratic leaders favour Harris. At the same time, economic concerns and inflation benefit Trump, leaving both candidates with around 49% support.

Yahoo News-YouGov indicates both candidates are tied with 47% support.

PBS News-NPR-Marist gives Harris a narrow 3% lead. Morning Consult reports Harris leading the race.

The Economist-YouGov shows Harris with an 8-point advantage, at 49% to Trump’s 47%.
